A Shiny New Machine

I just got back from seeing The Televangelist and the Architect at the Middle East. They only played a thirty minute set, but it was very enjoyable. I just picked up both of their albums – The Mass Exodus From California & Diaries Of The Intelligentsia. Both are really solid records, and I recommend picking them up.

I’d say my only bone to pick with this show is that the The Televangelist and the Architect’s music is really not meant to played in such a small venue to such a small amount people (probably less than 50). When I listen to their recorded music I can just picture it in my head filling large rooms like the Avalon, to a sold out crowd with a some epic lighting going on in the background. So TTATA, do me a favor and start getting big. And readers, do me a favor and listen to this band, and tell all your friends. Soon the buzz will be huge and you will be able to catch this great band at all your favorite middle-range venues across the country and beyond! Until then, I hope these videos and pictures will hold you over. Also, I threw a couple mp3s in the mix as well, because you’ve had a long week, and you deserve it. Enjoy.
